From Trance Prodigies to Global Innovators

For many of our long-time listeners, W&W (Willem van Hanegem and Ward van der Harst) represent a pivotal era in electronic music. Meeting at the legendary Trance Energy event in 2007, the duo quickly became the protégés of Armin van Buuren.

Their early discography is a treasure trove for trance purists, with hits like "Mustang," "AK-47," and the iconic "Invasion" (the ASOT 550 anthem). They were pioneers of "Tech-Trance," a sound that combined euphoric melodies with a harder, more aggressive edge.

While they eventually became the architects of the "Big Room" movement, W&W never truly left their roots behind. Their side project, NWYR, continues to keep the spirit of pure trance alive, while Rave Culture Radio serves as the melting pot for everything that makes a dance floor explode.

What is Rave Culture?

Founded in 2018, Rave Culture is more than just a record label; it’s a movement. It was created to reshape the dance music experience, blending the heritage of 90s rave with futuristic production.
